Topic: Which Cloud Standards Matter?"
As Cloud Computing becomes more and more understood, the barriers to adoption become less about "What is Cloud Computing" and more about "How do I use it?'. Standards can increase adoption b/c they create opportunities for vendors to simplify installation, shorten the learning curve, reduce vendor lockin, and create more opportunities for automation.
We are fortunate to have 4 speakers tomorrow from innovative cloud companies. Priya Ketkar of Abiquo, Kyle MacDonald of Cloud.com, Sebastian Stadil of Scalr, Adrian Cole of jClouds/Opscode & James Urquhart of Cisco.
Each speaker will have 15 mins to give us a preso or demo of the feature within their product that benefits customers (or would benefit customers) because ther is a standard.
Here is the agenda. Hope to see you there!
