A. Benefits
The Investor Forum: Powered by DLA Piper and SDForum provides exposure for up to 15 selected technology companies to make targeted connections in Silicon Valley.
As a Forum company, you pitch your company and product to a private audience of venture investors from 8:30am to 11:30am.
What You Get - The Deliverables
As a Forum company, you will receive:
- One hour of coaching and feedback on content and structure of pitch
- Standardized template for Executive one page
- Introductions to VCs investing in your space
- Your company name with a brief description in the printed program for the event.
B. Details
Date, Time & Place
Investor Forum: Powered by DLA Piper and SDForum will be held in early September 2010 from 8:30am - 11:30am.
Investors Forum
At the special by-invitation-only VC Preview, roughly 50+ venture and angel investors will take part in the company pitch session.
C. Requirements: Eligibility
Are You Eligible to Participate in the Investor Forum?
To participate in the Investor Forum: Powered by DLA Piper and SDForum, you MUST meet ALL of the following criteria:
- Be a current SDForum member
- Represent a technology company
- Be actively seeking investment capital
- Have a product or service ready for demonstration by mid August, 2010.
Participation in the Investor Forum: Powered by DLA Piper and SDForum is limited to two forums.
Participations must be an active SDForum Individual or Start-up Member at the time of application.

How Can You Apply to Participate in an Investor Forum: Powered by DLA Piper and SDForum?
Provided you meet all the eligibility criteria above (in Section C), you will be a valid candidate for selection. All companies that apply will receive an email response regarding selection status by late August, 2010.
Send your request to participate in the Investor Forum to startups@sdforum.org, by Thursday, August 5th.
In the body of the email, please INCLUDE ALL of the following information:
- Your company name
- Contact name
- Business description (50 words or less) that will be included in the printed program
- Email address
- Company URL
- Telephone number
- Mailing address
- Attach a one page executive summary, using the supplied template

We will only review the first page, so be sure to keep it to one page only. Your summary must include the following information: Management Team, Market Landscape, Competitive Advantage, Business Model, and Feasibility. These are the five areas the reviewers will be scoring.
