Kris Brown, Advisory Director, PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Kris Brown has over fifteen years of domestic and international management consulting experience where his work has focused on major transformation projects in delivery and sales.  Kris is a practice leader for PwC's AMI / Smart Grid solutions, responsible for launching and managing the practice.  Kris has assisted clients in all aspects of their Smart Grid programs, including developing business cases, establishing organizational change, developing functional and technical requirements, analyzing impacts on existing structures, infrastructure, and processes, assessing underway AMI initiatives, and getting troubled programs back on track.

Lee Burrows, Partner, VantagePoint Venture Partners
Lee Burrows joined VantagePoint Venture Partners in 2002, bringing with him 15 years of broad semiconductor technology expertise, specifically in the areas of semiconductor processing, advanced materials, power storage and management, and battery, lighting, and smart grid technologies. Previously, he founded an optical component company that was subsequently acquired by New Focus, a leading photonics solutions provider. Lee holds six patents, with two additional patents pending in optical networking and device manufacturing. He graduated with honors from the California Institute of Technology (BS, MS) and is also a candidate for a PhD in Applied Physics.

Andrew Colman, Senior Vice President, Business Development, GRIDiant
Mr. Colman has over 30 years of experience in executive management, business development and finance in the electricity supply and energy efficiency arena, with expertise in product development, software, sales, marketing and engineering. He joins GRIDiant from Scientific Conservation, Inc, a provider of energy efficiency, maintenance and continuous commissioning SaaS for commercial buildings. Mr. Colman was SCI’s CFO and was instrumental in securing A round venture funding. Mr. Colman attended the University of Virginia, where he earned a B.S. and an M.E. in Nuclear Engineering plus an M.B.A. from Virginia’s Darden School. Mr. Colman is based in Silicon Valley.

Steve Goldberg, Ph.D., Partner, Venrock.
Steve Goldberg joined Venrock in 2009 after having been CEO of several early stage companies including DataRunway, Vidient, Arcwave, and CoWave Networks. He was Vice President of Research and Development at Nokia Internet Communications and VP and GM of the Wireless Communications Division at Cylink Corporation. Steve has also held senior management and engineering positions at Trimble Navigation and Hewlett Packard. Additionally, Steve enjoys teaching and public speaking, and has delivered a number of academic and industrial courses in the areas of wireless, telecom, and signal processing.
